Production logging consists of running geophysical measurement instruments, called logging tools, into an oil or gas well to measure various physical parameters. These logs are run in both production and injection wells. They can be run under dynamic (flowing) or static (shut-in) conditions. With proper interpretation, production type, production intervals, and flow rates can be determined. The primary purpose for production logging is to allow the operator to enhance production profits and decrease costs. This modern toolstring enhances the traditional measurements by integrating new technology sensors and combining other critical tools.

To reduce overall operation logistics toolstring acquires the measurements in real-time mode.
